IBEKAKU MULTIPURPOSE COOPERATIVE SOCIETY
The Ibekaku Multipurpose Cooperative Society is established in 2013 to assist rural women obtain free micro credit facilities to support them to develop their farming and other petty business needs, to support in accessing agricultural implements and inputs, fertilizers, sanitation, health, marketing of farm produce, etc. Main objectives include:
Objectives:
- To assist its members in the assembly and collection of credit.
- To encourage its members engage in thrift savings
- To encourage its members engage entrepreneurial activities through active petty marketing and business
- To encourage its members engage in farming and agriculture
- To support rural women enhance their skills acquisition techniques


About the founder
Barrister Juliet Ibekaku has twenty-two years postgraduate experience as an international criminal law attorney and development expert. She was called to the Nigerian Bar as a Barrister and Solicitor in 1993. She has a Masters degree in International Human Rights, Humanitarian and Criminal Law and a postgraduate certificate in anti-corruption studies.
